Hogan Marren Babbo & Rose, Ltd. (HMBR) is pleased to offer a full-day, in-person training designed specifically for Illinois higher education institutions on Title IX and the Illinois Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act (PSVHEA) on Wednesday, August 27, 2025..

Join experienced civil rights compliance attorneys Debbie Osgood, Emily Bothfeld, and Marcela Sanchez Aguilar for a comprehensive program that will provide both foundational knowledge and practical implementation strategies. This is a valuable opportunity to engage with colleagues, ask questions, and ensure your institution is well prepared to meet state and federal compliance obligations.

The program will cover all required training components under Title IX and the PSVHEA, including the PSVHEA’s 8–10-hour annual training requirement for individuals involved in the complaint resolution process.

Training Highlights:

  • Morning Session (9:00am–1:00pm): Overview of Title IX and the PSVHEA, foundational compliance requirements and institutional responsibilities, and trauma-informed practices and response
  • Afternoon Session (1:00pm–5:00pm): In-depth review of grievance process, implementation challenges, and practical guidance for Title IX team members
  • Morning coffee/breakfast and a boxed lunch will be provided for all attendees.

  • Full Day (9:00am–5:00pm): $750 per person
  • Half Day (Morning or Afternoon only): $450 per person
  • Group Discount: Institutions registering five or more attendees will receive 20% off each registration.
