Linh T. Nguyen

Linh T. Nguyen is a Partner at Hogan Marren Babbo & Rose, Ltd., who joined the firm in September 2018. Ms. Nguyen advises education entities on operational compliance issues related to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, the Higher Education Act, and the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, among other federal and state statutes and regulations. She regularly conducts employee trainings, investigation of discrimination and sexual misconduct allegations, and policy and procedure reviews for secondary and post-secondary institutions.

Prior to joining HMBR, Ms. Nguyen was a Law Fellow for the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA), where she wrote daily briefs on new issues and developments impacting the regulatory landscape and case law of higher education.  During law school, Ms. Nguyen interned at the Public Defender Service in Washington, D.C., externed for the Colorado Attorney General Office, and worked for the Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the University of Iowa College of Law.  She also published a Note in The Journal on Gender, Race, and Justice and competed in the ABA Law Student Arbitration Competition and the Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Competition.
