Patrick E. Deady Addresses The Township Officials of Cook County Spring Conference

On May 21, 2014, Patrick E. Deady and River Forest Township Supervisor Carla B. Sloan made presentations at the Township Officials of Cook County Spring Conference in Countryside, Illinois discussing River Forest Township’s successful opposition to HB 4425, a legislative proposal that sought the elimination of the Township. Mr. Deady discussed the legal flaws in the proposed legislation which sought to force the dissolution of the Township and the transfer of Township services to the Village of River Forest by a binding referendum.
