AFL-CIO appoints Patrick E. Deady to the Board of Directors of the AFL-CIO’s LCC

On February 15, 2017, Richard L. Trumka, President of the AFL-CIO, appointed Patrick E. Deady to the Board of Directors of the AFL-CIO’s Lawyers Coordinating Committee (LCC). The forty-five LCC Board members help to shape the programs and priorities of the Committee, which meets annually to provide continuing legal education to lawyers representing AFL-CIO affiliated international, national and local unions and offers other educational programs throughout the year to respond to changes in the law or to otherwise advance the labor movement’s goals.
